In passing, Emily saved the lives of three people. This week her family welcomed those recipients to Michigan to mark the graduation she did not get to reach, and it brought a lot of joy and healing along with it.
Emily always wanted to help people, and she is still doing exactly that. Watching these families come together is the clearest proof of the legacy she is leaving behind.
