Built by a community of those whose lives she touched, we work to honor Emily by showing up for others the way she would have wanted — with kindness, with purpose, and compassion.
Through academic scholarships and meaningful programming, The Emily Matejovitz Foundation invests in people the way she always did — wholeheartedly, and without hesitation.
Our Story
This foundation was founded by Emily’s family and the organ recipients whose lives were saved by her gift of life.
We came together from different places, bound by something we are still learning to put into words. What we know is this: she deserved a long, full life. And the best way we know how to honor that is to pour her love back into the world.
That is what we do here, every day.
